Registration

Registration for the conference is free for the general public. The opening launch of the exhibition “Awa, une revue féminine pionnière. Sénégal, 1964–1973”, which will take place at 6pm on 19 March in the Bibliothèque Lettres et Sciences Humaines at the Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 is also open to the public.

This conference is part of the larger programme of ‘Afrophonie’, the theme of the 2018 Semaine de la Francophonie at the Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3. You will find more information on this programme here. Entrance to all events is free, with the exception of performances of ‘Tram 83’ at the Théâtre La Vignette on Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 March, and the projection of ‘Mère-bi’ by William Ousmane Mbaye, followed by a debate chaired by François Fronty, at the Cinéma Utopia on Wednesday 21 March.
